WRITING ACTIVITY

Hello dear students! How are you doing? I hope you bring your fingers super fit to class because today we are going to write LETTERS! Have you ever written one? It is like an e-mail but handwritten on paper and sent inside an envelope via mail. But, who could you write to? Hmmm.... let me think.... Got it! We will become PEN PALS with another school's students! But what can we explain to someone we do not know? Easy! I will give you a template for you to use. You can also make your own one. The first letter will be a presentation one, so the student who gets it  can know something about you. Once they receive your letters, they will write us back and each of you will have a letter from them. Every month you will exchange letters and will get to know each other better. You might think that writing letters is boring but look at all the next purposes in Pen Pal writing, isn't it interesting and fun? So let's get to it, get your pens and write! LISTENING ACTIVITY

  Hi dear students! How are you today? I hope you are fine and full of energy! Oh and I also hope you all have shiny clean ears ready for the lesson today 😂😂 The first mission is going to be listening to a story that I am going to read for you, while you draw what you hear. Do not worry, I will read slowly and will give plenty of time for you to draw. Later you will be able to show your drawings to the class and we will compare them. Do you think they will look alike? The second activity is called " The broken telephone". We will make groups of 5 students. I will choose a leader for each team and will give them an envelope which contains a sentence with 10 words. You will stand in line heading the blackboard. The leader will whisper the next student, who then whispers that word to the next person until it reaches the last person, who must write the word on the board. Quicly you must change positions and the leader will whisper the next word. You must continue playing until

SPEAKING ACTIVITY

Hello students! Today we are going to practice a little speaking in class! As you all know, we have been learning animal related vocabulary this past week and you have really enjoyed it. Before enfing the Unit we are hoing to play some games and I hope you have fun! I prepared some special Taboo cards for you. Do you want to know what makes them special? Here is an example: The traditional Taboo game does not allow you to say the given words but this time you can use 2 of them, so choose carefully 😜😜 We are going to work in small groups of 4 students each and I will give each group a set of cards for you to play. You can play for 20 minutes and the we will change activities. The second part of the lesson you will have to interview the classmate sitting next to you in order to know which are their 2 favourite animals and why. You must write down their name, their answers and make a little drawing. Once you are finished we will hang all your papers on the classroom wall. See you soon!

READING ACTIVITY

Hello dear students! Today we are going to work on a misterious text!  We are going to work in teams of 4 students each. I will give each team an envelope which contains a jigsaw puzzle. Your mission is to complete the puzzle and once you are finished, you will be able to read a riddle! Can you guess the answer? Do you think that all the puzzles will be the same? Let's find out! Each team will  read theirs aloud in class and together we will try to solve them.
